Does anyone know why MEP connectors have been added to the Revit Architectural 2010 Generic Model Family Editor Ribbon?
Is it some kind of Fix for the MEP users as many of the MEP families can't be cut in section?

Just that Architects can now make families with connectors just like MEP can.

Just trying to create a duct run using the connectors. (see Duct3.jpg) I have created a straight run and an 90 degree elbow family - they seem to connect but only if you align the connections before hand. When looking at the assembly in 3D, they show being connected but do not 3D snap making the tool very hard to use. Am I doing something wrong?
