    Question Revit Print Preview

    Hi everyone,

I working on a custom plotting/printing utility for my company using Revit. I am currently still learning the Revit API and it's .NET platform. For this purpose I want to build a sample that will just print /preview the current view in the project using the default print settings. Printing is not that hard, but I have not been able to figure out how to trigger a preview. Does any one have any suggestion? Is the functionality even exposed through the API?

    Thanks,
    Ivan

    Angry Re: Revit Print Preview

OK, so there is no way how to trigger a print preview using the Revit API. A hack I came up with is printing to an xps print driver and displaying the output to the user through an XPSDocumentViewer that I created. Still please let me know if you can figure out a better way of doing this.

    Default Re: Revit Print Preview

My response might be late, but I know that the current Revit API does not have any implementation for Print Preview.

    regards,
