    Default joining 3d polylines

i've loaded lisp routine to join 3d polylines <<pedit3d>> - when i type <pedit3d> onto command line i get to chose objects..... the 3d polylines i want to join...... on <enter> it goes off to do something..... and when i go back to my line its broken down all segments into separate lines...... which seems to be because the lines are separated by a very small distance - i cant fillet the 3d polylines and cant alter them to join - even tho i can zoom close enough to see the discontinuity?...... in 2d pedit i can alter the <<fuzz>> distance...... which allows dis/un-joined lines to be connected - is there a way to do this within this pedit3d.lsp? or any other .lsp routine?
    i'm running architectural desktop 2006

Why not just stretch one end of the first polyline to the far end of the last polyline?

    _______

    instead of

    ------------

Window the area that contains the remaining pieces and delete them.
You get a more efficient file and you could say it's now drawn "correctly".

I'm curious to know if this works cos i often go back to 2d lines PEDIT them and revolve or extrude into a 3D object, all the while taking care to remember the dimensions. So i either get the solid shapes right the first time, or risk going back to my clumsy 2D method.

    Hi Mac.
Just use Stretch to make one ENDpoint of one line snap to the ENDpoint of the other.
    2D only though.

Davied2 - would you post an example file?

Thanks John. Do you mean stretching endpoint to endpoint would make it a polyline? That'd be sooo cooooool!

No. It just means that PEdit/Join will work.

    Hi everybody!!!
I think you can try to create region in 2D and then extrude it.
    Hop it helps
