Hi all,
I need to convert a set of dwg files to tiff as 1 document; I managed to convert the dwg first to pdf then through Acrobat saved as tiff, but they come as separate documents. Can anyone help? Thanks.
Hi all,

I use PDFCreator for this. Plot from ACAD to PDFCreator. Then when the setting dialog pops up, click the Wait-Collect button. Repeat all the plots you want, even using the PUBLISH command. Then in the PDFCreator's list view, select all of them, click the combine toolbar button & click the print button. When asked for filename, change the extension to TIF.
Only prob is it creates an uncompressed TIF file ... but that can be remedied with an image editor.

Thanks for that, irneb, I'll have to d/l a copy of that right? Then I'll give it a shot.
That's one solution, and the one I use. But there's quite a few others with similar capabilities out there. Here's the PDFCreator page. But you can google PDF printer driver for others if you like.
Another way of doing it is to combine the TIF files after Acrobat Reader has exported them. For this you'll require an image editor capable of this. One I like (because it's free and works on multiple files at once) is XnView.

Thanks again, will check them out.
AutoCAD also has a feature called tifout that might help.
Give people a job worth doing, the tools to do it, recognition of a job well done & get out of the way.
I use Acroplot Pro by Cadzation. It exports to many formats, including PDF, TIF, PNG, & GIF.
It's not free, but if you export to these formats often, it may be worth a look.
