Default How to show duct filled cross when cutting section thur duct?

Ok, is there a way to show the "filled duct cross" (or unfilled, or ying-yang if round, etc) like used on duct rises/drops when cutting a section thur ductwork?
Our office would like to see the style when sections are made. It seems only when the end of a duct rise / drop is seen end on that this shows, but not when cutting a section.

Am I doing something wrong? It would be nice to know for both REVIT 2009 & 2010...

    Same with piping...

There has to be some way to do this you'd think...

Those are one of the things revit developers missed out.

These people do not do drafting so doesn't understand the proper ways of showng riser drop/rise details.

We just draw detail lines on the top of the duct and use filled region, than group.
-Yes it is anoying when you change the duct size you need to change the 2D detail groups that goes with it, but it is the easiest and simplest way.
