Default Can I add a metal flat roof to this sloped building?

I'm doing a "side project" for a guy with a tire shop. I run AutoCAP MEP, but it has the Architectural tools and catalog in my version as well. I have uploaded the file and for the life of me can't figure out how to attach a roof. Not asking for someone to do it for me, just offering the file so you guys know exactly what's going on.

Just looking to see if anyone can point me in the right direction.... Thanks in advance.

You probably need to add the roof tool from the tool catalog to one of your pallets.
I'm guessing that in AMEP that's not loaded by default.
If you select the create roof tool, or if you enter "roofadd" at the command line, that should get you started.
Then simply trace the outline of the building.
Ok, for the drawing you've sent me you should use a roof slab as opposed to the roof object I mentioned above.

I added a flat roof for you.
Don't save over you're other drawing. I'm still on 2007 and I'd hate for you to loose a bunch of info.

I just opened up the drawing, used the roof slab tool, picked the 4 corners of the building and hit enter. Then I went back and adjusted it to be in the correct elevation and angle.
You can set that up to be either by angle or by rise/run depending on how you did it. My guess is that you just raised one side up 2' or what ever and called it a day. Much easier on the steel guys for fabrication if you give them a work point or an elevation.

I don't know of any metal roof manufacturer who would warranty a flat roof. The least slope that I know of is 1/2" per foot, and that's for a standing seam roof.

Yeah, we're about to find out. This is just for a small tire shop owner who has to submit an actual print set of plans to the city because its considered commercial. I just told him I could draw it up, but the builder is telling me exactly what to draw. Just a little side project for myself. My company said it would be alright to use their software and plotter. I'm about to print the final set of plans to sumbit for permit, so I imagine they'll be coming back once or twice which I included in the price.

@ Dave, thanks I finally got it to work after messing with it awhile.
