Picking Linked model

Everytime i click anywhere in my model it picks&drags the Linked arch model 1st, cancel & try again. Driving my nuts, how do i turn its pickabilitty OFF!

Select the linked background and type "hh" to hide it, do what you need to do then type "hr" to unhide the background. You might check your cut plan. The background might be on top of what you are trying to select, making it difficult to select other objects.

We turn off the floors, ceilings and rooms in our Coordination working view floor plans.

I picked this up from someone else. Using the design options I created a new Options Set and put my linked model on that. Then you have the option of checking a box to make the Set selectable.
