Unhappy zooming camera problem in revit 7.0

I am working on a model for a client and he askes for renderings dayly. Last night he asked if I could zoom in on the building about 20 feet. So I opened up the drawing, and used the forward/back option in the Dynamic View display, re rendered it and sent it to the client. the client loved the view. So today they asked for another color change to the building with that same view. So I said no problem I opened up the model, and the view had reset itself to the previous view. So my first thought was that I must have forgot to save, (not) The rendering of the good view was captured, so I knew I saved, so I reset the view to what the client wanted saved, got out and when I went back in it reset again (aurggg!!!) what the! Is this something wrong I am doing on my end?

thanks in advance for any help

Thumbs down Re: zooming camera problem in revit 7.0

wow adding to the point is it will keep the view if I use the Dynamic View field of view tab in and out command. S if I use that one and then use the forward/backward command, then save. it only remembers what I did with the in/out one. Boy is this frustrating haha

Ahhhhh Boy do I feel stupid sometimes haha. I was not saving the view. I was just cosing the window, or just starting the rendering. It is weird that it would remember the one command without saving the view, but it wouldn't remember the other. sounds like a bug to me, oh well at least this will make the client happy that his prototypical view will be the same no mater how many colors he changes.

One more point though this is just me goofing off. but I could use the forward/back command then use the in/out command afterwords. then not save the view and it would remember that view haha. that was going to be my workaround until I fount the right way of doing it.

Sorry I wasted everyones time on this one. It was refreshing to get the answer though haha. see everyone at AU!!
