Default Revit files self-delete from C:\Temp

Has anyone come across an issue when local user files self-delete from C:\Temp or any other directory for that matter. (C:\Temp is where we save files for easy access in case a team member is out or for whatever reason.) It has even happened while the person is working in the file. The Revit_backup folder is not deleted however. I have spoken with IT and there is no script or anything that automatically runs cleaning directories of *.rvt extensions. Any help woud be nice, thanks.

C:\Temp is a windows directory for temporary files. I don't know for sure, but I wouldn't be surprised if windows has some cleanup routine to clean files out of that directory. Or disk cleanup does I think. Your files would probably be a lot safer elsewhere (we use C:\Revit Local Files)...

I'm with Steve. Another directory right off the root directory for your Revit local files is the way to go.
