Does anyone know what this means, why it keeps crashing this AutoCad Civil 3D 2008 - that is only used in its vanilla 2D role, and how to avoid it, please ?
Sometimes this occurs after plotting a drawing and then closing it; sometimes just on opening a drawing. Any drawing in this particular project.
I would submit an error report but the IT restrictions don't allow it
Now it's spreading to any project. I missed a 6 out of the title. It should be
INTERNAL ERROR: !dobji.cpp@6762:eNotOpenForWrite

This thread may help.
Otherwise try searching for "eNotOpenForWrite".
Does this happen with only a certain drawing, multiple but not all drawings, or all drawings?

Thank you for the thread: I haven't found anything so far, but it's a start.
I have searched AutoDesk's knowledge base to no avail.
I have had this error message a few times before but today, when I have to get a lot done urgently, it became a plague affecting almost any drawing I opened from two quite distinct projects, until after about the fourth reboot, when it quietened down. Hmm.
Did you install all patch available from autodesk. It seem like memory leak. Autocad Civil 3d keep dumping continue to memory. Try to install available service pack.
