Ever have a family that has family types and you don't need or want them but can't figure out how to get rid of them? Well now you can and it's quick!

1) Save the family.
2) Load the family into another Revit file, project, family, template, doesn't matter.
3) Close the family if you haven't already. (IMPORTANT!)
4) In that new Revit file, use the Project Browser to locate the family you just loaded and expanded it to see the Family Type(s)
5) Delete the Family Types only, do not delete the whole family.
6) Right click on the family in the Project Browser and select "Edit". This will open the family for editing.
7) Save the family to overwrite the previously saved version.

That's it! Seven steps and you've got a nice polished clean family with no Family Types.

Hope this helps you guys.
