I'm looking at getting a new laptop and would like to to be powerful enough to run Revit 2010. I was wondering if anyone new of any good laptop deals? Does anyone know a website that shows the latest laptop deals?
Thanks for your help,
Howard

Having just purchased a new Macbook Pro laptop with 8Gb ram, Revit 2010 flys on it. I generally use it in "Parallels" but Autodesk has now extended their support to mac users using boot camp.
Unfortunately Apple are not known for their deals but they can and do happen from time to time, you just have to be lucky...
Any laptop that is categorized as a "workstation" would be fine. A consumer laptop wouldn't be powerfull enough.
I am running Revit on my dell precision laptop. Haven had any problems.

I'm running a T61 thinkpad with 4 gigs of ram and a single dual core. Works for structure. Could be faster, but I'm limited based on XP, but the price was right.
