Default Circuits Lose Changes after STC

I've seen this question posted elsewhere but haven't seen a reason or solution.

Here's what is happening. Click on a panel and hit Edit Circuits, move circuits around to where we want them, STC, and everything reverts to the way it was before changes were made.

Anyone know why this is happening and can we stop it from happening?

I have seen this. What I believe will help is edit the circuit but remove them and finish the command then go and add them to the other circuit.

This would take a long time if there are a lot of edits to perform. Is there not a simpler way to make Revit keep from reversing changes on its own?

i had one computer here doing that (a while ago, in ver 2009), but mine never did it. the way we got his to keep his changes was by having him save (local only) first, then save to central. seemed to make his changes more solid/permanent before saving to central. his machine doesn't do that much any more (maybe a few randome times), i think when he got a new computer it stopped. so i think it was a bad install, i'm pretty sure i checked to make sure we were on the same build, etc. i also think we uninstalled and reinstalled on his old machine, and it was still doing this. it didn't stop until he got his new computer.

Recently had this problem too. I had a few weird things happening were outlets that have only a single 1/pole connector were getting two 1/pole circuits. I would disconnect them from one of the circuits STC and suddenly it would magically have both circuits again. I then deleted the outlets and added 2 new outlets to that circuit and STC the outlets dropped off the circuit. My assumption is that sometimes circuits get corrupt and they have to be completely deleted and re-circuited. Also had weird things with panel schedules where circuits had 20A and some circuits had -- i would modify the schedule and suddenly they would fix. Circuits and schedules are very unstable and need to be constantly re-checked.
