I am trying to figure out how to import a titleblock that is in .dwg format.
In my vast 2 months of experience I've figured the best thing to do is just break down and recreate the file in revit. From my experience the only way to bring the autocad titleblock into revit is to insert it as a cad link but at that point it's not much more than a image. I'm sure someone else with more experience..which would probablly be just about anyone will chime in though.
What you want is to create a Family, and import your Title Block into it....however, you will still need to then change all your lines to clean them up, change your text and create tags instead etc, plus, any cad import runs the risk of introducing gremlins into you file.
The Botom line is, that you are far better off taking the time to create the Family in Revit from Scratch, than you are from importing it from Cad.
If you really want, you can link you original into your family, use the pick tool to create the lines, and then unlink the cad file.
Some fonts (like Romans) do not play nice in Revit either, as in they print far too light.
