    Question Architect's Levels & Structural's Levels

How are firms handling levels in their projects? We have in-house engineering and we are discussing having two level lines, one for architect's & mep (top of slab) and one for structural top of steel (bar joists and wide flange). Does anyone else use this method in-house or with consultants?

Between all consultants we copy/monitor the architects (top of slab) levels. These are the common levels. The structural engineer has in some projects added levels in their own model for top of steel. I like this approach, since I can see the Structural top of steel levels (through the linked file) but my coordination is based on the top of slab.
