    Default Exploding ASD Steel drawings

Can someone tell me how this works? I can see the the command in ASD Drawings>Drawings Edition tab. If I understand correctly I should use it in a layout. When I run the command it asks me to select objects, I select the whole drawing then I get a message most of the objects selected could not be exploded. Any ideas?

    Thanks.

The option enables exploding some complex elements (groups, connections) into single elements

I see. I'd like to export my ASD Steel drawings so anyone with a plain AutoCAD can open and see it. How can I do that?

    Thx.

    I thought so.
Go to object inspector printouts tab and RMC (right mouse click) and select "Save printout" or "Save all printouts". Then you get ordinary dwg files that can be opened in every CAD.

I usually send those dwgs accompanied by pdf or dwf files, in case they want to print it exactly as i have intended.
