    Default Symbolic Lines

I am helping someone in the office with a project.
I noticed that the exhaust air grilles did not have a strong reference for the symbolic lines.
I want to align to the constant changing RCP.
I edited the family from not a reference to strong and saved.
When I load into project I get the error attached.
    It makes absolutely no sense.

    What to do?

I have come across this after going back and editing a family to link the connectors. After reloading the family, I see the same error. Hasn't mattered much because this firm, like all the others I have worked at, are just using revit as an expensive cad tool. I just went ahead and said ok. Graphics looked fine afterwards.

Are you resetting to default parameters? You will get that error if you reload a family which has a different value for something linked to a connector.

You will also get it if Revit is in a bad mood that day though.

    Hi all,

I agree with MJ. It sounds like a connector problem.

BTW there are another 24 warnings on that error - maybe one of them has the real answer to your problem.

    Thanks

The warning is a coordination review, the 24 others are disconnect errors. The Symbolic lines are locked to the 3D geometry of the grilles. The Symbolic lines have nothing to do with any connector.

No, I am not overriding the values of the existing types.
