Double clicking of Text or Attributes does not open appropriate editor

when I double click on text or an attribute I do not get the editor for each one, can someone help please?

Check what DBLCLKEDIT is set to.

Is it just me or is gpope's signature pic not working anymore? is shows up blank for me....just letting you know.

There might be a problem if your work is blocking anything for Yahoo's geocities.

Its there now... ? And it usually does show up for me....? Must of just been an error at the time?
