    Default Displaying Wire Size

How do you have the circuiting show the AWG size for circuits other than #12? I would like to have a #10 show up on the wire for a 30A circuit, can this be done?

The wire size is based upon a table in "Electrical Settings". I believe it is based upon NEC 310-16. You set the wire size for each over-current protection setting.

I want the wire shown on the paper to display the size it is. Does Revit display this info. or not? For instance, in CAD a #10 wire will have show a 10 in the wire. I would like to see this in Revit.

Short answer: You can create a tag to show this info. There is already a parameter in the wire properties for wire size, but it is going to show more info than you want. You'll probably have to create a project parameter for wire size (call it something else) and apply it to the wires category. Then create a new tag that reads that parameter.

Thank you. What do you do when you have a #10 homerun but you tag the homerun to show the panel and circuit number? Can you do more than one tag on the wire?

Yes, you can place as many tags as you want. You'll just have to have a separate tag family for different sets of info you want to show.
