    Default Annotative XREFs

I am thinking about starting to use annotative text and dimensions. I use a lot of XREFS. Most of the text and dimensioning is now done in the XREF. The sheets are maninly used for setting up viewports at the correct scale. The question is, where is the best place to put annotative dimensions, text, and note boxes? In the XREF as I always have or in model space of the sheets? Thanks for any suggestions.

    Keep them in the XRefs.

You do need to make sure your host drawings have/use the same annotation scale names.
