Help on db

I am trying to make a db of a tek screw I am able to array the threads but i would also like the tip to move with the array without it arraying the tip. If someone could give me some tips on how to achieve this that would be great please take a look at the attached file.

Is there and order of operation to doing this? I am trying to do the same thing with another screw and I can get it to array and the tip to move with it but there is a gap between the tip and the threads. I have tried doing this several times now and can not figure out what I am doing wrong. This is for the wood screw. Please see attached. Thanks

I tried and same problem, one thing I do when I use array is to enter up to four decimal points for accuracy instead of fractions on the number pad.
