Searching today for a shower head. Prominently displayed in many of the available units is an eye-catching gold Check Mark, like it's rated A+++. Opening a few of these shows that they are simply rehashed dwgs/dxfs - exactly what I was trying to get away from in the beginning.
I find the entire SEEK adventure to be a waste of time as far as Revit is concerned.

Follow up:

I decide to take a Delta unit & model it myself from the 2D views. Here's the kicker: the views aren't even to scale. A little less than 1/2 full size (I had to go the the Delta web page to confirm).

Verdict: SEEK SUCKS

I totally agree, there is too much rubbish on seek.

Here are some of the websites I have used to get content. If others were unaware of some of these then I hope this helps.

http://arcat.com/bim/bim_objects.shtml - some good stuff here.

http://www.turbosquid.com/Revit-Market/Search/rfa - Not much free stuff. You need to enter 0 in min and max price to find free stuff.

http://smartbim.reedconstructiondata.com/ American content. Their Education spaces are available. Other spaces such as hospitals are under construction, so worthwhile checking back regularly.

Ive gone in to the Revit.ini file before distribution to the entire office, and ive taken out the address for seek, both for searching and for publishing. Any of that garbage finds its way in here, vengenace will be swift, LOL.
