    Default Ecotect Surface Smoothing?

Does anybody know if it is possible to show round forms or in my case a "bumpy" terrain model without showing the facet outlines? In other 3D programs you can define a maximum angle between faces that will hide the facet edge and let the curves and bumps look smooth.

    Thank you

Red face Re: Ecotect Surface Smoothing?

Hi. Unfortunately, there is not way to do this. Ecotect uses polyface translation on the geometry so what you are seeing is that effect. It does not really have a shade without edges type of mode like Revit or 3D Max for that matter. Remember, it is not a presentation tool it is a analytical tool.
You can merge coincident polygons (Modify Pull Down Menu) to clean up some of the triangulation, but that is about it.
    Best regards,
