Lost Icons on Civil 3D 2010 Ribbon

Iv'e lost the small button icons (Acad?) on my C3D ribbon. They are blank. Also on all my other ribbons the automatic description that activates when I hold my cursor over the button no longer responds. And when I click on the larger Civil Icons they do not respond. When I type "ribbon" on the command line nothing happens. It doesn't go away and it doesn't reappear. How can I reactivate my ribbons??? HELP!

Without knowing what might have occurred, it's difficult to say for sure. If you have exhausted all other means, then you might just go ahead and Restore your latest CUI backup, or maybe Reset the CUI back to the stock OOTB version.

I reset my CUI back to the original setting. My buttons reappeared. Yeah!
I then Went to the OPTIONS dialog box and in the design Display tab I checked the Tool Tips box. Am still missing my Express Commands, May have to reload fro disc.
