    Default Making Concrete monolithic:

    For anyone out there:

I am new to Revit Structure, and I am starting to experiment with it. I was wondering if anyone has any good tips for making concrete walls, beams, slabs, columns etc, completly monolithic without having to go in and join all of the elements together by picking them using the join tool.

    Any help greatly appriciated!

    Default Re: Making Concrete monolithic:

Take a look at my posting at http://cadalot-revitlearningcurve.bl...rete-beam.html when I fit one beam inside the other they automatically merge because they are made of the same material.

When I model Ground beams and piles I make the materials different so that the 50mm kicker of the pile going into the beam shows up.

So check that materials for all your elements are the same.

We have also found that you have to miter the corners for hidden lines to work properly
