I'm not sure if this is and AutoCAD issue or a Civil3D issue. I've produced the following behavior in both Civil3D and while running Civil3D as AutoCAD.
I have a drawing with an attached image. The image is displayed under my linework. The problem occurs when I try to create a selection set. I can use a crossing window to select the lines I want, but if there is something I do not want to select, normally I can shift-pick to deselect the items. If I try to do this over the image, the following message appears on the command line:
This happens both when the image is loaded and unloaded. Holding the shift key down while picking seems to be telling AutoCAD that I want to pick the image, but that's not what I want. Even if I begin the window outside the image, I am unable to complete the window deselection by picking anywhere on the image. I've tested this in other drawings and the behavior is the same.Image(s) not selected.
Select Image(s) then issue command.
The selection modes that I have shecked in the options box are:
noun/verb selection
implied windowing and
object grouping.
The imageframe variable does not seem to make any difference either. Even with the image frame turned off and the image unloaded, shift-picking always selects the image.
I want my normal shift-deselect behavior back.
