Visibility of symbolic line in certain scale

Hello,

is it possible to construct a formula which allows a symbolic line to be shown in scale 1:50 but be invisible in 1:100? I dont want the the line to be depent on my detail level. Or can one use some other method? Hope someone could help me with this...

Aside from detail level, which you already said you didn't want to use, the first thing that comes to my mind is to change the subcategory of the line in question and then turning off that subcategory in your 1:100 view. You could include it in a view template if you have a bunch of 1:100 views.

There is no way that I know of for an object's visibility to be controlled by the scale of the view. This would be nice for text I have embedded into families. But, again there is nothing you can do for your situation.

i was afraid it couldn't be done. However it would be nice to extend the formula library to include a view scale parameter...
