I'd say maybe if the attribs displayed wrong on all PC's. But it seems that it's only on the one PC while on all others it's fine.

So I have done some more checks. We are both using Civil 3d 2008.
Although this user is using Civil 3d as Autocad 2008.

When he uses Civil 3d as Civil 3d he can see the attributes.

The profile he is using is the same as his departments standard profile set up for Autocad 2008.

On other users machines where only Autocad 2008 is installed & using the same standard profile the attributes are visible on the Properties palette.

So I am actually still none the wiser at the moment. But if that should change I'll be sure to post

That sounds really strange ... there must be something in the profile which breaks this. Try importing a profile from another PC ... you may have to also look at Workspaces (although that's a lot more difficult to import).
