Default Buying a notebook? Check this site out...

I already knew what laptop I was going to buy, but I got to learn more about what's in it because of this site.

    www.notebook-guide.com

This site explains what's current in notebook hardware - I learned that my new laptop is not only a pig in weight, but also in power usage, and that the video card won't be great for gaming. Not I need it for that!

Lots of good information on processors, screens, etc. Concise and good reading!

    Enjoy...

Great information....I will have to bookmark this site in case I need it in the future.
I'm hoping that notebooks will be able to do everything a desktop machine can.....gaming, video editing and the likes. Only problem I have with notebooks is that you pretty much get what you buy (have no chance to upgrade).

There was a thread recently about how clock speed has kind of hit the wall. The P4 I bought over two years ago is more than holding its own against new models! I think the same will hold true for notebooks too. You can't upgrade the motherboard of course, but you can add RAM and change video cards, etc.
