Default Trouble creating a concave Roof

I have the unfortunate task of creating a concave roof in Revit 2010 that is not only concave, that I can do, but also rises from say 10' on the low side to 14' on the high side. I have tried to use the extrude roof tool, but it won't let me pick an angled face to create the extrusion. I built an angled box for just that purpose to give me the upward angle I am looking for.

I have attached a sketchup model showing the desired result.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You need to create a blend form in the mass tool, then use roof by face.

If both the low side and the highh side are rising at the same angle, you could also do this as a sweep.

You should be able to do this Roof by Extrusion. Trick will be to get the workplane on the angle you need. Use a Ref plan drawn in a elevation view at the correct angle, then pick the Ref Plane as a new workplane.

But since you went through all the trouble to do the Sketchup model, import the SKP file into a Mass family, insert into project, and then use Roof By Face and pick the top surface of the Sketchup roof.

Thank you all for your responses. By your comments at least I was working in the right direction. I will try a few of the suggestions and post my success or failure.

    Thank Again.

    Hi there!
I don't see any problems. Here is what i did:
    1. I just modeled a surface with two arcs (freeform modeling), lying in vertical reference planes. Elevations and radius of arcs are where different.
    2. Than picked surface with "Roof by Face" and that's it. (see pic.)
