Bad Fonts ( Arabic Fonts)

I have bad result in printing when using windows arabic fonts like arabic transparent or arial ( not Acad fonts)... they appear well on screen but the scrabbled when printed .... any idea how

Hi

This is beacuse of the plotter/printer settings.

in Plot dialog box
1- Select the Printer/Plotter then
2- Properties
3- Device and Documnent Settings Tab
4- Click on (+) next to Graphgic then True Type Text
5- Choose True Type as Graphic
6- OK
7- This option for this job only
8- This option to create a perminant proter settings to use next times
9- Ok to go back to Ploting dialoge box

This happen because you used English font I think you do just alt+ lift shift and write Arabic , So please used this font for Autocad

it works with me

any way try to use the arabic fonts which e.mounir attched
to use the fonts files

close autocad
copy and paste this 2 files in autocad font folder
for ex. C:\Program Files\AutoCAD 2007\Fonts

then create a new textstyle and coose this font

tryout this solution

1.) Close all programs
Go to Control panel| Regional and language settings
Languages tab
Select "install files for complex script and right to left languages (including Thai)
Requires a reboot

and in printer properties Choose True Type as Text

I didn't find that exact option in language tab but found another one ( attached ) but didn 't work too ... I'm using ain XPSP2 .

- did you create a new PC3 file for the printer and use it?

PS: at first reply in attached image In step no 5 choose True Type as a text not as a Graphics

- Try to print the same file using another PC.

ps. for my HP 500 plotter i had to send file as bmp map not sending it directly to plotter ....
