Hi,
I am quite a beginner with Revit MEP. I have a issue, which I find hard to solve out. When I import an building from IFC (created in Archicad) it locks the orientation of a plan view. The building is rotated, so it is necessary to change the orientation for modelling the systems. I figured out you rotate the building to true north, but as I said, when I use default systems template, the option in floor plan properties is greyed out and locked. Is there any reason, why this is happening? Because when I use my old template for 2012 Revit architecture, it is working.

When asking this question, is there any better way how to work with rotated building and change its orientation in floor plan just for modelling and not actually rotate the building? I tried rotate the crop view, but then when I insert a systems family, it is inserted with primary orientation, which means it is rotated differrently then the crop window.

Thanks a lot for help, Martin
