When I publish to pdf in 2010, I sometimes get a message stating that it cannot find ArielMT. I can't find this font either. This only happens with structural notes that I imported from a Word document.
Any ideas?

It's usually spelled ArialMT - is that what you want?
It's a variation on Arial that includes some Unicode characters.
Arial is/was shipped with Windows, ArialMT is/was shipped with versions of Acrobat.
Both are freely available for download.

To avoid any further font issues change the font in the Word document by selecting the copied text and change the font to a desired common font like Tahoma and save as if you prefer, then you may have to purge your drawing before copying and pasting again.

Got it, thanks.
Hey John, what did you do to fix your issue?
We have a similar issue here that gives me the missign font error when plotting to dwf. Could it be text pasted from word? We use Arial in word and when I paste it into an AutoCAD mtext box I convert it to Arial Narrow, which is our chosen font in AutoCAD. If I changed it after pasting, why the issue?

I get the same error when i publish or print to PDF any document with a degree symbol or center symbol.
The entire text block was created in autocad and the special character was inserted by using %% ie 45.6 %%DC, %%C45.8mm
so any solution to fixing this?
my current work around, publish to DWF then switch computer (where adobe is installed) then print from DWF to PDF.
I would like to print straight to PDF from AutoCAD.
