Default How to Param. a Polygon

To creat a sweep path I tried to make a Octagon, but unable to make it parametric. While making octagon with subcribe circle is there any way to param. the rad. of the circle ? The file under trial is attached.

Why to draw a circle, as corners of octagon are constrained by ref. lines & deleting the circle has no effect . I have constrained also but is there a short method ? Can we contsrain the rad. of sbcribe cricle while drawing the polygon. My constraing method is much lenthy than yours. see the attached. Again I failed to constrain thekness of dome while drawing close loop for the sweep. How the thickness of the dome will be achieved ?
