Red face place a small perpendicular line at the end of a line object

    hi all,
I am trying to place a perpendicular line at the begining and end of several line objects. Is there a way to do this in AUTOCAD MAP? The purpose of this being to display where the object starts and ends.
Perhaps in the style editor somewhere? or the query filter?

Has anyone ever tried something like this before? let me know please.

thanks very much for the help.

Are the lines feature objects or drawing objects? With feature objects you would have to have point feature at each endpoint then use the stylee editor. If they are drawing objects you could use a block and insert it at the endpoints.

Murph, the lines are feature objects. Not sure though of what you mean about placing a point feature. Is there an example that i can have a look at?

    thanks very much
