    Default Graphical Column Schedule problem

My steel H-piles are not showing up in my graphical column schedule. When i select them in a plan view, i have a warning coming up saying that they are not included within the graphical column schedule because they exceed the view range of the schedule itself, and to adjust the parameters of the schedule, though the schedule clearly shows the levels at which the piles should be shown at, and my top & bottom levels are set to encompass the piles length.

Has anyone come across this before, and/or am i missing something simple here???

    Thanks for your help!

are they modelled as a foundation or a column??

This way you may find they show up in your footing schedule...

Or model them as a pile and change the material & size and for sure they will show in your footing schedule.

i modelled them as columns, typically, that way they would show up in my column schedule. I'm not sure what i am doing wrong, i have done this with other projects in the past without any difficulties whatsoever.

Usually i will create a column schedule for the structural steel framing, and a separate column schedule for the steel piles.

If you make a new column schedule view- do they show up in that view?

(BTW, can you post the exact error message? And what version of Revit are you in?)

If i create a new column schedule, they will still not appear. I have tried creating new levels & reference planes to use to place the piles, and they still won't appear.

This project is in Revit Structure 2009, i would update it to my 2010 version, but the architectural designers are still on the '09 version at their end.
