    Default Lighting Fixture BIM modeling

I'm trying to model a light fixture from scratch. The light fixture has 4 different lamping options. Does Revit MEP allow me to modify the lamp options within 1 single light fixture family within the family type editor? Or do I have to create a light fixture family for each different lamping option?

You can create multiple types within a family. Each can have a differnt voltage and wattage or lamping optioin. you have to map the voltage and wattage in the connector to the voltage and wattage category in the family type. Each type can have a unique amount of lamps. You may have to add a lamp parameter.

I'm horrible at explaining things, maybe someone else can give you the full run down or point you in the right direction.
