    Default Black viewport of death

    Hi.

I have a recurring issue with my viewports blacking out more or less at random when I attempt to edit something within them.(See attached jpg).
A refresh of the view doesn't help.
If I shut down revit and restart it the problem will be gone but then after a short while it will happen again - to often to allow me to get any meaningful work done.

I'm using revit 2009 on a reasonably powerful machine (2.6ghz quad with 4G ram and an ATI HD4870 graphics card).
To the best of my knowledge my graphics drivers are up to date.

Has anyone else encountered a problem like this?

Have you tried turning off harware acceleration in Revit?
