    Post Searching for labels.

    Hello,
I am new to Civil 3D and I have just begun to learn the program. In LDT, there is a command to simply label a line. Is there an equivalent in Civil 3D? If so, I haven't found it yet. Can anyone give me any help on this?

    Tom.

Unless this generic line is part of a Parcel or an Alignment
or some such you may have trouble simply placing a label on in
in the manner of Land Desktop.
All of the power and Mystery of Civil 3D lies in the Styles of objects
and the styles of labels for those objects.
Go have a look on the Toolspace >>Settings Tab found under the
General menu and have a look at perhaps using various Parcel
label styles to accomplish this task.

Optionally one could setup a MAP annotation

template or two to handle this type of label.
