Default Copy/Paste - Model to Model

Originally we put all our hydronic piping in our plumbing model (and linked it into the HVAC model). I am trying to copy all the hydronic piping, valves, fittings, etc into the HVAC model and it is NOT coming in lined up right on the "X & Y" plane. I tried changing the "Project Base Point" and the "Survey Point" in the plumbing model to account for the difference and it still doesnt come in line up properly.

Is there anything else I could try?

I have not tried this but in the HVAC model select the link of the piping and on the options bar try the bind option.

    Thanks!

This seemed to work. I was able to bind the model and then it put all the objects in a group. Then I was able to select the group and "ungroup" and everything came into the model. Now I have to go through and get everything on the right workset, etc.
