Default Rehosting elements on a Reference Level

Is it possible to Rehost a bunch of elements on a Reference level, say 9'-0" to another at 8'-0"without having to pick a place on the screen to set the elements at. I want to just be able to change the level, so all elements will just move up or down exactly where they are onto the new Reference level of my choice.

I'm probably missing something but why not change the reference level from 9'-0" to 8'-0" ?

Because there are elements that need to remain at 9'-0". We started the project with all ceiling heights at 9'-0" and now they vary from 8'-0" to 10'-0"

I figured it out. I don't know why I never tried this before. If I select all the elements I need to move to a new reference level, I select "Edit Work Plane" instead of "Pick New Host", then I don't have to place a drop point, it moves them automagically.

I feel like a rookie again.
