Unhappy Round Duct tap into a Rectangular Duct

This is my first post, and it may be a simple answer, or already posted somewhere. I have searched the threads and not found an answer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have used the draw duct command in Revit, and it always keeps the duct taps as rectangular if the main is rectangular and round taps if it is a round main. I am trying to see if this setting can be changed, or if i can choose a round tap to go into a rectangular duct withouth the weird transition in between the duct, as i figure that would not be a real life solution.

    Thanks again,

    Gerardo Rojas

You need to create a new duct type.
Go to the element properties of the duct.
    Edit new.
create a new one and change the fittings to your desire.

Thanks! I created the new duct type and it fixed that issue, but when i use the "Connect Into" button is there a way for me to tell it to use the duct type that i have created?

Connect into uses the type of duct you select to connect into.
It does not use the current/active type.
If you want it to use a specific type you need to have it drawn and select that duct 2nd in the "command".

That does not seem to work in Revit 2014
