    Default Dynamic flip action

Having a problem here.I created the dynamic block and all works well until i flip it.The stretch nodes seem not to stay with the parts length and they work backwards....the backwards i can understand, but would like the nodes to stay with the length.I've tried to apply a move to it,to see if that helped.Looking for a solution if any

I haven't looked at the drawing you attached, but this should help you:

Order is important in dynamic block creation...

    - Create your Stretch action first.
    - Then create your Flip parameter.
    - When creating your Flip action from the Flip parameter, make sure you select the Stretch parameter/action so that when the block is flipped, the Stretch action grips will orient along with the Flip.

This methodology also helps with Rotate actions and more. Hope this helps and sorry I didn't have the time to check out your drawing and test out my theory.

That's the steps i followed.I believe the problem is the two stretch actions on the same parameter....working opposite ways

Yeah...those 2 actions don't mix well for linking. I would create a different parameter for each action.

I tried that.Being on the flip the stretch will work backwards the data extraction is fubared.Maybe if I start the stretch from the middle out, this might work.

Attempted this and no go with two parameters. What i did that got it closer was to have one stretch, the entire length and set it to midpoint. If I could solve the reversing stretch when flipped, then all will be good.

I put this .wmv together to show what's happening
