I'm using ACAD 2009
Draw a line tangent to arc or circle is easy
But how to draw an arc or circle tangent to a line or 2 lines?
Anyone has any idea?
Thanks!

use circle with the ttr (tan tan radius) option. you click on the 2 lines, and specify a radius and it will place the circle. to get an arc, just trim the circle to the lines.
If you are at high coordinates trimming the circle using the lines may not work, so you will have to draw a line from the center of the circle perpendicular to the line and the use the new line to trim the circle.
If you mean a circle (or arc) to be tangent to one line only, then draw it using the Center-then-Radius options. When asked for a radius, simply OSnap perp to the line.
If you wanted it that way but at the end-point of the line, you could either move it after the fact. Or offset the line by the circle's radius, then draw it between the 2 end-points.
