Question Is there a shortcut to changing the type font for multiple text styles?

I have a case where there are many drawings with multiple text styles using a type font different than what is desired. Presently, I open the text style window and one-by-one change the font in each style. This is very time consuming. Is there a shortcut to modifying those particular styles?

    Thank you,
    John

Do you want to keep separate styles?
Different styles all with one font?
Or different styles all with different fonts that are each different from the current fonts?

Or could you change everything to one style?

I need to keep the existing styles but change the font to Arial.
6 of the 10 styles on each drawing (200+) need to be changed to Arial. The other 4 styles need to stay exactly as they are.

    Thanks,
    John

I've not done that but I'd try using a script (assuming the various styles have the same names in each drawing).

This is the result of using the command line "-style" command -

    Code:
    Command: -style
Enter name of text style or [?] <Notes>:

Existing style. Full font name = Arial
Specify full font name or font filename (TTF or SHX) <ARIAL.TTF>:
Specify height of text or [Annotative] <3.0000>:
    Specify width factor <1.0000>:

    Specify obliquing angle <0.00>:
    Display text backwards? [Yes/No] <No>:
    Display text upside-down? [Yes/No] <No>:

"Notes" is now the current text style.
    Repeat for each style.

I managed to scale multiple text fields in Autocad 2010 with the "scaletext" command. First I selected all the text fields with the "filter" command and then I used "scaletext". With scaletext you have to enter a point for scaling, for example middle and then you must enter font height. Hope this helps someone.
