Default Log File Path in Plot

    Hello
I am shrirang Joshi, from Nelco Limited, Mumbai, India.
I am using AutoCAD 2004 and 2008 on 2 different PCs.

In AutoCAD 2004 the problem is,
I GET THE PATH OF LOG FILE OF PLOT WHILE PRINTING WHICH I DONT WANT.
I am using HP Deskjet 1280 for A3/A4 printouts.
Though I dont get this problem in AutoCAD 2008.
I have to go another pc for this.

    Please help me.

Is Plotstamp turned on? You may need to expand the plot dialog to see the settings.

That means the round button with the greater-than sign ( > ) in the bottom-right corner of the plot dialog ... just in case you didn't know

And BTW, welcome to AUGI & congrats on your 1st post.

Is this text on the plot of the drawing or on the plotter's control panel display?
If you have a technical question, please find the appropriate forum and ask it there.
You will get a quicker response from your fellow AUGI members than if you sent it to me via a PM or email.

    Dear Opie.
The text is on the plot ( on paper). Its not even seen while print preview.
I tried most of very obvious settings about plot. Can you suggest me something something.

Does your plotter have it's own stamp setting maybe? I know some have this capability, but it differs from brand to brand (even between models of the same brand). And then also it could be different between the Windows driver and the HDI driver.
