Exclamation Read-Only Alignment after XML import

Whenever I import an alignment to civil 3D, the imported alignment can't be edited through the grid view or individual entity editor. In the alignment entities menu every value for line, spiral or curve apears grayed out.

Even if I create the alignment in civil 3D, export it and then try to import it back I get this odd behaviour.

I have tried changing the settings in the xml archive in the read only section (0,1,true,false) but without luck. I have also tried every xml version without luck.

It is for me vital to find a way to import an xml being able to edit it afterwads.

I'm attaching a picture below to ilustrate my problem

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Default Re: Read-Only Alignment after XML import

LandXML simply imports the entities as fixed lines and curves and doesn't support all the different types of entities that Civil 3D does.
