    Default Pipe Drop Annotation Scale

I've got a piping network set up for a building. In the scaled plot views the pipe drops appear and a filled in Dot. I believe i need to use fractional inch annotaiton scale for the piping fitting annotation size. when I try and do anything fractional it reverts to 0'0". 1" and above scale appears way to large.

    The plot scale are 1/8" = 1'

    Any help is much appreciated.

    Thanks!

Default Re: Pipe Drop Annotation Scale

We use 1/16" to 3/64" drop annotation scale. First you need to check your project units length dimension settings and make sure that it is set to the nearest x fraction. In other words, if your dimensions are to the nearest 1", you won't be able to set your drop annotation to anything less than 1". If you set it to the nearest 1/64", then 1/64" is the lowest annotation scale you can set for your fitting symbols.
