    Default Moved Central File

Ok I'm in a bit of amazement here.

We are about to have a quality Audit at my company, and as such people have been getting our filing structure "in order" to meet these requirements.

In the process, they have restructured the directory paths for my project and renamed paths also. My first question is WHY GOD WHYYYY!!!???
    And secondly, Who does that!?!?

Now my local file can not find central.
All of my linked files no longer load, and Im wondering what other joyful problems this will cause.

Central file has been moved to another directory, and tells me when I try to open it that
"The central file has been copied or moved from <insert location here> to <insert new location> if you want this file to remain a central file, resave the file as a central file."

Before I go ahead and do this, I want to make sure all I need to do is a save as, and continue working? Will it be best to create a NEW local file etc etc??

Save the file as a new central file. Then have all local users create a new local file. It's as easy as that. The links will need to be reloaded from the correct file path. If you change the file pathing to "relative" for the links then you won't have to reload links when file locations get copied or moved, such as transferring files to consultants.
