Question Title Block on each Layout Tab- best method?

I have a consultant drawing that I need to modify with 15 or so layout tabs (including a very drastic modification of their title block graphics and text info on each layout). We have no office standard Title Block. I'll copy their .dwg for the modifications & refer to .dwg copy as "ConMod".

Since ACAD 2009 LT can't use sheet sets, I guess the most efficient technique is to create a new Title Block drawing sized for the pagesetup sizes of the layout tabs (and our office printer) including appropriate attributes (Sheet Name, Sheet Number, etc).

Then, erase all the consultant Title Block info on each Layout Tab in the "ConMod" .dwg.

Then, Insert the Title Block .dwg into the 1st Layout Tab of the "ConMod" .dwg (thus becoming a Block defintion in the "ConMod" .dwg).

Then inserting the Title Block on each layout Tab, modifying the default attribute values as necessary?

Is the existing title block a Block? If so, you could simply modify/redefine that.
If not, your method would do it.

Question Re: Title Block on each Layout Tab- best method?

No, the consultant title block is not a block.

Is there a way to copy the Title Block I will make more easily to each existing Layout Tab, rather than Inserting it on each Layout Tab?

Also, is there an advantage to Xrefing the Title Block .dwg on each Layout Tab, rather than Inserting it as a Block? If so, would I have multiple Xref attachments, one for each Layout Tab?

    Thanks

Depending on circumstances, it might be easier to have blank layouts and the title block inserted or xreffed into modelspace but, if you want to use attributes for things like drawing number and title, your original idea is usually the easiest method to work with. IMO.
